Dr. Sarah Jacobs decided she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was 5 years old. She received her bachelor’s degree in three years with honors from Rice University in Houston, Texas and her veterinary degree from University of California School of Veterinary Medicine in Davis, California. During her studies, she worked at Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos, California. She also has a special interest in reproductive medicine for dogs and cats.

Dr. Jacobs has volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind. She raised and trained a guide dog puppy over the course of a year. Dr. Jacobs is also scuba certified. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses and making jewelry.

Born and raised in Palo Alto, California, Dr. Jacobs is new to the New York Area. She lives on the Upper West Side with her two dogs, Mara and Luke and her fiance, Jason.
